CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS!
The Canadian Science Fair Journal is now OPEN for submissions for Volume 2!
Send us your project now to share your work with readers across the country, have your article indexed on Google Scholar, and to add a publication to your resumé!
Students in Grade 2-12, or ages 6-18, are eligible to submit their articles to the CSFJ. Articles may be submitted in either English or French. Class submissions are also accepted and encouraged.
The project must be original work that is previously unpublished in another peer-reviewed journal at the time of submission.
The CSFJ publishes original projects relevant to STEM fields. This includes and is not limited to biology, behaviour, engineering, chemistry, and technology. Published articles are not restricted to projects that have been presented at formal science fairs; however, article content must be consistent with the formatting and eligibility requirements described in the journal's submission guidelines.
Articles should include the following general sections:
If your project involved the development of a new technology or does not follow the above sections, don’t worry! We’d still love to publish your project and will work with you on how best to present it in article format.
Please email your submission in Word format, along with your statement of originality, to email@example.com.
Each article will be thoroughly checked for plagiarism using online sites such as Turnitin.com. At the discretion of the editorial staff, plagiarism incidents will be classified as minor or major instances. Minor instances (likely accidental) will be returned to author for correction and resubmission. Major instances of plagiarism (misappropriation of an entire concept) will be denied publication. The editors reserve the right to make grammatical changes.
We look forward to reading your submissions!
Articles will be processed within two weeks of submission.
